The Collingwood Trails Network has been created to promote both alternative transportation methods and provide community opportunities for pro-active health. Currently the Town of Collingwood trail system boasts over 60 kilometres of trails spread out throughout Collingwood. Visit Harbourlands Park, Harbourview Park, Sunset Point Park, along the Pretty River dyke, and throughout other scenic parts of Collingwood as your explore the trails. Recent additions include a lovely extension of the Sunset Point Trail, and the Black Ash Trail which runs along the Black Ash Creek. The trail runs along the creek all the way to the Georgian Trail behind the Collingwood Centre. Trail maps are available at the Collingwood Welcome Centre, The Environment Network, Collingwood Town Hall, local outdoor stores, and a variety of other community locations. The trail is linked to the Georgian Trail to Thornbury and Meaford, via the Train Trail to Stayner, and in the future will be linked into the Wasaga Beach Trails System, the Tiny Trail and then into the Penetanguishene/Midland area. Collingwood's trails are four-season multi-use paths for walkers, joggers and cyclists. They are also very suitable for people with physical disabilities. We hope to see you on the trails soon! Enjoy your time on the Collingwood Trails.
